From a young girl, I have had this curiosity to see the world. Out my back door, where did those paths through the boreal forest lead? What was down that highway?
During my late teens, I did a lot of travelling in my home province of Manitoba. Lots of this was from the inside of a Grey Goose bus. When I had my two children, we explored more, not too far from home though the dream of getting in a vehicle and going wherever called us was always at the back of my mind. I never follow that one. What I discovered then was journeys come in many varieties - launching new enterprises, homeschooling, and many inner discoveries. I also realized that putting dreams on hold is no way to lead a life.
This blog is about how I am changed by my travel, what I notice along the way, and pushing the dream to go further out into the world. Some of it is close to home and some of it is new places. What I notice so far is that it shakes me up, to my very core. That fear walks with me to each new place but it is no excuse not to step out.
I invite you along on this journey with me. I am always looking for new places to explore. If you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them.
